I have made an attempt at blogging a couple times in the last few years. I did “Sex, School, & Shoes in SF” when I moved to San Francisco in order to further my education in human sexuality. I also had “Words, Lyrics, & Blogs” when I became overly obsessed with quotes, lyrics, and all the amazing blogs I was introduced to… I love blogging but I haven’t yet found something I can talk about everyday and that was an issue because I wasn’t motivated to write. Writing is probably my favorite thing to do in life. I consider myself a “writer” even though I haven’t been published. I haven’t written any big time articles and I don’t have a book out (yet). But everyday I write something. I like writing in my journal because I’m old fashioned and because I find words written with a pen on a piece of lined paper to be beautiful. If you want to hear what I have to say, stay tuned because this will be my one, my only, and my final blogging adventure. I have self titled this blog because my name is one of the only things that won’t change in my life. I am 26 and have a ton of things going on right now. I am a wife, an educator, an owner of a business, and I’m passionate about everything I do. I figured I would share my struggles, opinions, and words with those of you who choose to read them.
Here is a quick run down of my life right now:
- I am currently living in the Bay Area with my husband, who I was recently married to on 3.3.12, and our 6 month old miniature pinscher, Giani 🙂
- I started my own company 3 years ago and, with the help of my sister, I am continuing to build it from the ground up. My sister and I have made small amounts of progress with “Proud & Pretty in Pink” but that will all change in the up coming year.
- I will be moving home to Southern California in the next couple of months. I will then begin working on PPP full time and I am positive my will, courage, and motivation will be tested. I have a lot to learn about being a business woman and I’m ready for the lessons. I will be working hard to juggle being a wife, business owner and, hopefully soon after, a mother.
- I have committed to running a half-marathon with my sister, husband and cousin on January 5, 2013. I will get into this beautiful disaster soon.
I will be writing about all things Chelsie! There are so many plans set and opportunities being presented to me and I feel that, in the next year, my life is going to change completely. I want to document it, I want to share it, and I want to give you something to read every day. I feel people can relate to my simple life but my ultimate goal is to be anything but simple.
One down, many more to go! (I would love to hear from you if you have an opinion, a question, or a comment about what you read from here on out. I’m sure you’ll have at least one.)
