The 100 Most Beautiful Women in the World: The NEW List Project

If you care about girls and women, please consider helping with this project!  It has the potential to change the way we look at ourselves and other females. I have spent years coming up with ideas that can positively change our views and I’m confident that this will help.  I explain here:

If you google “The Most Beautiful Women in the World” the first result is from, “100 Most Beautiful Women in the World, Maxim Hot 100.”  The top 5 women are: Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Mila Kunis, and Jennifer Lawrence. I always think these kinds of lists are interesting because so many people have a different definition of beauty. Are these 5 women really the most beautiful women in the world!? I don’t think so. I’m pretty realistic and I understand that physical appearance is still incredibly important in our society.  I wish it wasn’t, but it is.  When I see articles, magazine covers, bill boards, commercials and TV shows that only highlight the most “beautiful,” I wonder if other women are thinking the same thing as me… “I wish REAL BEAUTY was being shown.”  So many people say that the “Beautiful” are the most appealing to the eyes.  Those are the people that we all want to see whether we admit it or not.  I think about this all the time. I contemplate if I am one of these people who want to see the more physically attractive people in ads, on TV and in movies.  I have come to the conclusion that I’m not! I don’t want to see this type of woman all the time.  I don’t want other girls to see this type of woman all the time.  I love diversity and I want to see more of it.  I want to see beauty in actions rather than in faces and bodies.

I always say that Beauty isn’t physical appearance, it’s an action and we all should be more focused on “ACTING Beautifully.”  Obviously the media presents a completely different definition of beauty and I spend a lot of my time trying to educate and convince girls that real beauty doesn’t come from your face or your body.  It comes from your mind, heart and soul. So when I think of the “Most Beautiful Women in the World,” I disagree with the google search results.  I think of women around the world standing up for freedom, fighting for those who can’t fight for themselves.  I think of those who have committed their lives to bettering the lives of others. The women who aren’t scared to go against the majority when it comes to doing what is right. Those who give because they know it’s needed. I think of a few of my incredibly giving and compassionate family members.  I think about the girls I have worked with who have impacted my mind and made me better.  I think of those who show their beautiful ways through actions that actually mean something in this world.  They come in all different colors, shapes and sizes. They don’t have a particular look or weight.  They are amazingly beautiful because of who they are and what they do, not because of what they look like.

From here on we will define Beautiful as the following:  Compassionate, Brave and Action-Oriented.

I would love to create a new list of The 100 Most Beautiful Women in the World.  Would you be interested in helping me?

This is a personal project that I hope will show girls that Beauty is absolutely about actions.  If you know a woman who “Acts Beautifully” please send me their name and why they are so beautiful.  Lets put together an incredible list of women who are the real definition of Beautiful!  Let’s show our girls that being proud of what they can do is more important than being proud of what they look like.  If we have more than 100 women nominated we may need to vote on the top 100.  I’m not looking to rank. I just want to showcase 100 beautiful women. To show a different definition of beauty, one that is more diverse and complex than the 100 shown on

  1. I love this idea Chelsie! Here are some women that I feel exemplify beauty as you have defined it (more to come later):
    Michelle Akers
    Oprah Winfrey
    Amelia Earhart
    Maya Angelou
    Lucille Ball
    Michelle Obama
    Katie Couric
    Betty White
    Barbara Walters
    Tina Fey
    Ellen DeGeneres
More to come! (: LOVE this idea and love you!

  2. Correct Tayrin. It can be any woman who lives beautifully. (Compassionate, Brave, Action-Oriented.) I want to build a list focused on action. It doesn’t matter what they look like or what their position is in society.
